Lexelle-sponsored Tarran Mackenzie admitted the 2014 season hasn’t gone to plan but has vowed to come back stronger and faster in 2015.

The youngster suffered another crash in the final BSB round at Brands Hatch and had to settle for 10th place overall in the Superstock 600 class.

But the Team WD-40 rider still managed to find the podium in an injury and bad-luck ridden season and is positive about the future.

He said: “Well at least this time I nearly made it to the end of the race!

“Apart from a small problem with my bike in practice once again my weekend was going really well. My bike was fast and I was on the pace in the race passing riders on every lap.

“Earlier in the season I had race crashes purely because I was too desperate to win but this time I had settled down felt comfortable with my pace.

“I had a few rear end slides which wasn’t a problem but then got caught out accelerating out of Graham Hill bend.

“I’m bruised but mostly upset as I let everyone down again.

“I can’t believe the season is over already but I’m already motivated to come back stronger and faster in 2015!  I’d like to say massive thanks to all my sponsors and supporters this year.”

Dad Niall – a former British Superbike Champion added: “Taz has had a few race crashes this year, however, his skill and dedication have never been in question so we will see him bounce back and deliver the success we all believe he deserves.”
