Lexelle-sponsored John McGuinness equalled the record for number of podium finishes at the Isle of Man TT on Wednesday.
The Morecambe rider, who has 19 race wins on the island chasing Joey Dunlop’s 26, was second in the morning’s TT Zero on electric bikes and third in the afternoon’s Supersport race.
The results took his festival podium total to 40 – matching the mark set by the late Dunlop.
McGuinness had earlier taken third place in Sunday’s Superbike race and Monday afternoon’s Superstock outing.
The iconic festival has been dominated by Michael Dunlop, who has managed four race wins.
But McGuinness said: “I feel good, riding for brilliant people who provide me with the best tools to do the job so never count me out.
“People say we are seeing a changing of the guard with Michael riding so well, especially with the last lap in the Superstock race which was quite incredible.
“He has lifted racing here to the next level – but I promise to do my best in the remaining races.”
Racing finishes on Friday, with the Pokerstars Senior TT.
