Lexelle staff have been getting into the festive spirit by supporting a local radio station’s Christmas campaign.
During December the company has been supporting Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids charity which aims to make sure every underprivileged child in South Yorkshire wakes up to a present on Christmas morning.
Staff have been out buying one extra present when they are out Christmas shopping for their families and friends as part of the annual ‘Mission Christmas’ campaign.
And so far we’ve collected plenty of presents and gifts in various shapes and sizes which we’ll be delivering to Hallam FM this week.
From there, they will be distributed among the most sick, disabled and deprived children from across the region.
Lexelle Chairman Donald Mackay said that everyone at the company had been keen to get involved with the festive scheme.
“The team is very pleased to be supporting this Christmas appeal as it directly helps underprivileged children in our local community and we think it’s something that really resonates with everyone,” he said.
“As a family orientated business, we’re only too happy to help and it’s great to see everyone getting involved with the gifts already stacking up in the office.”
Money saved from sending out Christmas E-Cards to Lexelle’s clients will also go towards the campaign so enough gifts can be bought for every age group.
Last year, Mission Christmas delivered £770,000 worth of gifts, supporting more than15,000 children across South Yorkshire.
