Tarran Mackenzie finished 5th on his first race for Team Honda in the World Supersport Championship at the weekend. The race was held at Phillip Island near Melbourne, Australia where riders had to deal with intermittent rain throughout the race. From a low starting position, Tarran was delighted to secure such a high place in his first race back after a broken leg, which prematurely ended his final season in BSB.
Tarran commented: “Leaving Australia 10th in the standings is just brilliant so I can’t wait to get stuck in again next weekend in Indonesia. It’s rainy season there at the moment so anything can happen!”.
We wish Tarran all the best in Indonesia and look forward to watching him progress further with his new team.
