Rhys was back at it again at Knockhill, Scotland for the 3rd round of the British Talent Cup.

Rhys had a good start to race 1 and had the pace to keep up with the leaders but only a few laps into race 1 Rhys came off of his bike hurting his wrist and his foot. With only the second race just a few hours away, Rhys was ruled out of it.

This what Rhys had to say on the week: “Well, if nothing else at the moment, I’m consistent, just not in the way I want to be or should be.

The weekend started well, I had the pace for the front row, and I felt good on the bike, I was hoping to end my string of DNFs, but it wasn’t to be, only a few laps in to race 1, I was slowed up a bit too much into the final corner, then gave it just a little too much throttle causing a high side.

Off to the med centre again!! with a painful wrist and foot, with race 2 only a few hours away there wasn’t enough time for my wrist to recover and to have enough movement to be able to take part in race 2.  Luckily though no broken bones.

Thank you to the medical team and the orange army for their help.

After a trip to see Aidan Robinson at ITRM Chiropractic Clinic my wrist is all good, he’s definitely the man to see after an off, it’s like magic.”

Rhys is next in Holland for the 5th round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Good luck, Rhys!
