Over the weekend it was round three of the Kawasaki British Superteen Series at Knockhill.

Carl got off to a great start at Knockhill, setting the best lap time in practice and then qualifying in third for the first race of the weekend.

Carl carried on the form from practice as he charged straight to the front as the race started. As the race went on Carl continued to battle on with second place but managed to hold them off to the finish line to claim victory in race one by just over a second.

With his win in race one Carl started in pole position on the starting grid but dropped to third as he went into turn one. Carl managed to quickly regroup after a slow start and re-took the lead on lap four. From then Carl never looked back and rode home to a comfortable victory by just over fourteen seconds, making it two out of two so far for the weekend.

Carl was looking to complete a clean sweep of victories for the weekend and got off to a good start in race three. Carl got in front on lap two and managed to hold onto the lead until the last few corners on the last lap where a slight error on a corner dropped him back to second which is where Carl finished.

This fantastic weekend for Carl shot him up the championship standings into the top spot, with a nice lead of ten points from second.

Next up for Carl is round four of the Kawasaki British Superteen Series at Snetterton, on the 5th – 7th of July.
