Rhys has been over in Spain at the Circuito de Jerez in the European Talent Cup with Vision Track.
Rhys had to retire the first 2 races with a technical error on the race start but he managed to finish the last chance race. Rhys kept pace with the leaders but couldn’t quite keep it up for the entire race, having a fastest lap of 1:51.030, under a second from the fastest of the day
This is what Rhys had to say: “Overall I’m a bit disappointed in my finish as I feel I had the pace to be with the front riders but a small technical issue due to a small error on the race start meant I had to retire.
I would like to thank all the team for their amazing work all weekend even if the results didn’t come, you are all amazing.
I feel over the weekend I learnt how to ride the European way now I’ve just got to put it into practice because just like they say, practice makes perfection”
Rhys’ next outing is at Knockhill for the British Talent Cup Meeting. Good luck Rhys!
