It has been a busy last few weeks for Tarran, with 2 trips to Japan and also a World SuperSport race under his belt.
After coming from 2 positive events in Spain and Holland, Tarran had some issues with his bike in qualifying which carried on into the races. Tarran couldn’t manage to finish any of the races, having to retire after 15 and 16 laps.
This is what Tarran had to say on the race: “Starting with the positives my CBR600RR Honda made some good steps in the performance department for Italy. I’m still lacking mid-range power compared to the opposition, but the top speed has improved which was helping me at faster sections of the Misano circuit. I had a short qualifying session due to a gearbox issue but went fast over the few laps I did have on track. Unfortunately, the same gremlins persisted in both races where each time I only completed one lap. I count myself lucky as I also collided with another rider in race one but somehow managed to stay upright. The team are of course devastated but have promised no such problems at the next round in the UK. Donington Park is one of my all-time favourite circuits so I’m expecting success at my home round. I also have some exciting career news that I can report back within a few days’ time!
Tarran will be back out there on the 30th of June until the 2 of July at his home race at Donington Park, Derby. Good luck, Tarran!
