There’s no slowing Carrie down as she was back at it on Boxing Day, her last trial of 2023, the sun was shining and here at Lexelle we were eagerly watching, awaiting Carrie’s results.
Carrie looked more confident than ever, riding without her spotters in many areas and putting in a performance to be proud of, flying up various sections of the trial.
Carrie herself had this to say:
“Great weather at a great venue for my last Trial of 2023.
I was planning on moving up to the hard route to end the year, but for reasons that shall be revealed, I tackled the middle 50/50 route one last time.
Bike was mint, I was feeling confident in my riding and the cleans were flying in.
My strong ride placed me P1 novice on the middle 50/50 route at the Trial, which gave me max points and managed to make me the SMCC 2023 Novice Champion🏆 Absolutely over the moon with this result and super proud to be adding another trophy to the collection so early into my trials journey still. What a way to end 2023, I can’t wait to see what 2024 has to offer!”
