Over the weekend it was round two of the Kawasaki British Superteen series, this time at Donington Park.

Carl got the weekend off to a good start, finishing fourth in the practice session and then a fifth in qualifying, meaning a fifth placed start in race one.

Race one got underway on Saturday and after a fast start from Carl, it saw him battle it out with the leaders for top spot all race. Unfortunately for Carl, he came up just short finishing in third but only 0.6 seconds behind the winner.

Race two got underway on Sunday, and with the confidence from race one, Carl was looking to go a few steps further and get the win. Just like race one, Carl got off to a great start with the top three pulling away from the rest, making it a dramatic 10 lap race. Carl managed to hold off the others and get across the line in first, just 0.2 seconds in front of second, taking home the victory.

This win for Carl shot him up in the overall championship standings and into fifth and in touching distance of top spot.

Next up for Carl is round three of the Kawasaki British Superteen series at Knockhill on the 14th – 16th June.
