Ahead of the 2024 season we have welcomed Team SBR Kawasaki and British Supersport Cup rider, Carl Harris, as the latest member to the Lexelle sponsored racing team.
With the start of the British Supersport Cup season on the horizon, Carl was stepping up his preparation for the new season. He was out in Spain at the Alcarràz circuit getting up to speed on the new bike and also getting numbers for the current bike.
It ended up being a successful 3 days on the track for Carl and his team, with experience on the new bike and also producing good numbers with the current bike, there is plenty of optimism ahead for the 2024 season.
This is what Carl had to say on the 3-day testing session: “It was a great first day at the Alcarràz circuit on the Kawasaki 400, getting it all set up and understanding the bike. I feel really comfortable on it and up to speed ready for round 1”.
Carl then went on to say: “For the other two days, I got the opportunity to ride a full race spec Superstock 1000 and what a bike it is. I felt really fast on it and gained a lot of experience. I feel like riding this bike has brought my riding on massively. I’ve had a really good 3 days testing with the team and we’re really looking forward to the start of the season”
It’s not long to wait now for Carl as round 1 of the British Supersport Cup takes place on the 20th and 21st of April in Spain at the Circuito de Navarra.
