Racing enthusiasts around the world are eagerly anticipating the adrenaline-pumping action of the Honda Suzuka 8 Hours race on the 5th and 6th August. For Lexelle, this year’s event holds special significance as Tarran Mackenzie, our sponsored rider, has secured a place as a riders for team F.C.C. TSR Honda France.

Tarran  replaces the Australian rider, Josh Hook who unfortunately suffered a right shoulder injury during training. While Hook focuses on his recovery for the FIM Endurance World Championship finale, the Bol d’Or in September, the spotlight now falls on Tarran as he partners with experienced racers Mike di Meglio and Alan Techer on the TSR outfit’s #1 Honda CBR1000RR-R.

Team manager Masakazu Fujii expressed his anticipation for Tarran’s performance, stating, “I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of performance he will show us. It also helps with the strategy, and it’s an important step in our race preparations.”

This opportunity comes at a perfect time for Tarran, who recently secured his first victory in the World Supersport championship at Most in mixed conditions, while riding for the MIE Honda team. Having moved to the World Superbike support category this year, the 2021 British Superbike champion is eager to make his mark on the global stage.

The Lexelle team eagerly await the weekend ahead. The Honda Suzuka 8 Hours race promises to be a spectacle of skill, strategy, and speed and we wish you the best of luck, Tarran – we can’t wait to see you out on the track!
