Ahead of the start of the 2024 season, and whilst we brave the temperatures of the UK, Tarran has visited in his words “Sunny Portimao” for his first test of the calendar year.
Completing his first few laps with the Petronas MIE Honda Team, Tarran had this to say “This was basically a shakedown test and on the 2023 bike but it was nice to finally get up and running on the Honda Superbike.”
He continued “We had a few gremlins to deal with on day one, however, day two was better as I gradually blew away the winter cobwebs.”
Sadly, Tarran suffered a high speed slip off in the last session, but thankfully unscathed and only more determined to enjoy the tests prior to the season start.
Tarran concluded “The next test is in Australia in two weeks where I’ll ride the all-new 2024 Honda Fireblade before the first race on February 24th. Watch this space!”
